Coffee Rye Loaf

Most customers in coffee shops love coffee, obviously, so when we've added a load of single origin Colombian coffee to a cake, this might cause a bit of a frenzy.


Our coffee loaf is made with a dark, rich, moist sponge and finished with a thick layer of whipped coffee buttercream, beaten until pale, fluffy then a final dusting of cocoa powder on top.

This is a light but generous slice, ready to partner up with any cup of Joe.

Ingredients

Sugar, BUTTER (MILK), Free Range EGG, MILK, Rapeseed Oil, RYE FLOUR (GLUTEN), PLAIN FLOUR (WHEAT, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Nicotinamide, Thiamine), Colombian Cocoa Powder, Colombian Arabica Coffee, BAKING POWDER (E450, E500, WHEAT), Salt.

Delivery and info

Delivered next day via DPD if ordered before 2pm (excluding Highlands and islands - we deliver to Mainland UK only and deliveries to Highlands take 2 days). Orders shipped Monday to Friday. We charge £6.50 per delivery and offer free delivery for all orders over £100. There is an additional £10 fee for Saturday delivery.

Deliveries arrive ambient and can be refrigerated or frozen on arrival. Please note that delivery times are out of our control. DPD may deliver up until 6pm. If you need your cakes to arrive before 12pm, please get in touch info@expodingbakery.com for a customised quote.

Please note that letterbox brownies are delivered via Royal Mail, however we can't guarantee items to be delivered through a letterbox. DPD deliveries will not be left at the door for security reasons. If the recipient isn't present, the parcel will be taken to the nearest collection point.

If you can't find cake you'd like to order, please contact a supplier in your area. You can find a map of our distributors HERE. Can I pick up a whole cake from the cafe?
Sorry. We can no longer service selling to the public directly, but please feel free to use one of our distributors. We also have slices of cake available to buy on the counter in the cafe.
Where do you ship and do you do same day shipping?
We ship to mainland UK only as we want to make sure your cake arrives super quick and fresh. We only offer next day delivery (2 day delivery to Highlands) if the order has been placed before 2pm. We deliver Tuesday-Saturday. Saturday delivery has an additional £10 fee. You can also choose a future delivery date provided it falls between Tuesday-Saturday.
