Apple, plum & butterscotch almond crunch As summer throws in the towel and autumn struts onto the scene, the British orchards get busy.

This is our ode to harvest season and a juicy celebration of British Bramley apples and plump, purple-skinned plums that have been sunning themselves all summer, now ripe and ready to party. We sling all that seasonal fruit into a gloriously squidgy cake base, then pile on a crunchy, golden layer of flaked almonds drenched in butterscotch. It has a florentine style finish with a serious snap. It’s got chew, it’s got crunch, it’s got nostalgic cake energy. The kind of bake that makes you want to chop wood just so you can earn a second slice.

FAQs

What allergens are used in your bakery?
The following allergens are all used on site - peanuts, nuts, sesame, flour (gluten), milk, soya. We store allergens separately and always make sure we do a thorough clean down between the different products that we make. We do not recommend our products to coeliacs or anyone who has a severe allergy to any of the allergens above. Please check the information on the product page for full ingredients lists.
Do you have a minimum order?
We don't but we offer free shipping on orders over £100. Some of our distributors do. You can find their details on the Trade page.
Why do you freeze your cakes?
The main reason we do this is to protect the cake during transit and it ensures the cake arrives in one piece. Cake is very fragile. Freezing also preserves flavour and prolongs the shelf life without damaging the structure of cake. We can't tell the difference between a cake that's been frozen cake and one that's hasn't.
The trade cake stock is low on your website - how can I order your cakes?
If you can't find cake you'd like to order, please contact a supplier in your area. You can find a map of our distributors HERE. Here's a list of distributors in the South West: • Plough to Plate 01626 830881 Free next day delivery, no minimum order • Caterfood 01803 664422 Free next day delivery, no minimum order • J&R Food Service 01392 445510 Free next day delivery, no minimum order • Panino 0800 0433120 Free next day delivery, no minimum order
